Rozsi Adean Moser
Acrylic, Mixed Media
I was born, raised, and educated in the Midwest in a home filled with artists, musicians and writers. My passion for music has remained a constant in my life, as has my passion for appreciating and creating art.
Versatility is one of the primary components of my artwork. While my mixed media pieces can range from 4 to 12 inches square, I have also created canvases as large as six by six feet. I primarily work in acrylic, but I also include many types of printing and mark making in my work with graphite pencils, handmade stamps, crayons and pastels.
I love to teach, and I’ve led workshops for the last ten years in journal making, gelatin plate printing, mixed media classes, and abstract painting workshops.
I admire artists from the Impressionist and Fauvist eras. Strong influences include Mondrian, Rouault, Soutine, Macke, Delaunay, and also the works of artists such as Pollock, Herbin, and Rauschenberg.
